I would like to introduce myself and the veterinary rehabilitation and wellness client. My name is Helen Crabtree DVM and I own and operate the rehabilitation practice which is located in but NOT affiliated with Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital.

After serving two years in the Army I was a member of the National Guard while completing my DVM from Louisiana State University in 1994. I practiced general medicine in Dickson City, PA for five years and Emergency medicine in Avoca, PA for eight years.

In 2007 I left Emergency Medicine to care for a family member who was having surgery to remove a tumor on her brain. It was here I witnessed the dramatic positive results, both physically and psychologically, of physical therapies importance in her full recovery.

Since then I have committed myself to bringing the same quality of care to canine rehabilitation in Northeastern Pennsylvannia. I completed the University of Tennessee's courses in Canine Rehabilitation and then interned at Red Bank Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey. I was also fortunate enough to get individual traininig at VOSM with Dr. Sherman Canapp and Debbie Gross-Saunders MSPT.

I have lectured about rehabilitation at Valley Central Veterinary Referral Center and Instructed JTI veterinary technician class while giving them an hour interactive tour of a patients rehab session.

Please rest assured your pet will receive personalized care from initial consult through discharge or follow up care. I look forward to meeting you and your pet.
